It is amazing how thick and green everything gets towards the end of the summer. There are 20 shades of green and you can literally feel the moisture rising out of the foliage on a hot summer afternoon.

While kayaking down the Neuse River in Raleigh, I came across this random hibiscus bush bursting with huge white flowers. It was a pleasant, but unexpected surprise. Go slow and keep your eyes open and you’ll find amazing things.
